About

A physics professor at Loughborough University with a background in magnetism and superconductors for “Energy” applications. My current research interests include a new phenomena – the spin Seebeck effect – which could impact on waste heat harvesting (“thermoelectrics“) and new technologies for computing (“spintronics“).

This blog is intended as a resource for anyone to ask physics-related questions and to get involved in outreach. So, if you have a question about outreach or general physics direct them here!
