Bell Burnell Fund – “The fund is for full- or part-time graduates wishing to study towards a doctorate in physics, from groups that are currently underrepresented in physics.“

Commonwealth Scholarships – International PhD scholarships that contribute to the development needs of Commonwealth countries by supporting research that will have a developmental impact. Placement opportunities that may be of interest:

Commonwealth Split Site Scholarship – Available to PhD candidates from low and middle-income Commonwealth countries to spend 12 months at a UK university as part of their doctoral studies in their home country.
